Innovation for Life Sciences
We are very proud to announce our new international catalog. We redesigned the catalog for a better overview and easier product finding. We present to you our newest products over 100 pages.
We have now 7 Chapters with different colors:
Each color is reserved for one chapter, making the navigation in the chapter very easy and user friendly:
Each product page has the chapter's color. The description of the product is on the center part while the images are concentrated on the external part of the pages.
We start our catalog with a sneak preview of our future products. After that, we have an overview of our newest products. Here you can already see the new colour coding…
Here you can find all of our brilliant enzymes, such as or new FastGene Optima HotStart as well as DirectPCR kits, PCR Cycler & superb Japanese high-quality plastic.
The FastGene® Optima is a mixture of a highly purified Taq Polymerase and a modified type-B polymerase with proof-reading abilities. The FastGene® Optima HotStart ReadyMix combines the superb efficiency and robustness of the FastGene® Optima with a proprietary antibody that inhibits preliminary unspecific reaction. This antibody is destroyed during the primary activation step. The ReadyMix comes with a loading dye, meaning that the PCR sample can be directly loaded onto an agarose gel, saving your precious time for what really matters.
The FastGene® DNA Polymerase is based on the single-subunit, wild-type Taq DNA polymerase of the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus and is purified using three different chromatography technologies and result in a very high purity and activity. 5 U/uL FastGene® DNA Polymerase contains 150 ng/uL (+/- 10%) protein of >98% purity.
The FastGene® DNA Polymerase is also available as a ReadyMix and as a HotStart version!
DNAreleasy Advance is able to replace laborious, expensive and kit based nucleic acid purification processes. The „released“ DNA can be used directly in PCR reactions or stored at -20°C for future use. The FastGene® Direct PCR kits combine DNAreleasy Advance with engineered enzymes from KAPA Biosystems. This results in the perfect amalgamation of the DNAreleasy Advance‘s easy procedure with the robust enzymes, making the laborious template DNA purification obsolete and a direct PCR possible.
We are introducing a new large scale plasmid DNA preparation kit using the anion exchange technology, the FastGene Xpress Plasmid Prep. The kit was developed in Japan with European support. 100 µg to 1 mg of transfection grade DNA can be isolated per prep.
Additionally, we have a small scale plasmid DNA prep kit, one kit for Gel and for PCR sample extraction, and a kit for sequencing dye terminator removal.
Our FastGene MagnaStand is a completely new product line. The purification of magnetic beads has been optimized by the world’s strongest permanent magnets, neodymium. By creating a pellet at the side walls rather than at the bottom, the MagnaStands allow, with their very strong neodymium magnets, the complete removal of the supernatant without touching the pellet.
This chapter includes our modern, next generation dyes for nucleic acid staining Midori Green Advance and Midori Green Direct. Additionally, you can find our DNA Ladders, e.g. MWP50 which starts at 50 bp! Our high quality Agarose, which is also available in the convenient pill format is on page 41. Our premixed Buffers (TAE and TBE) guarantee the best electrophoresis. Last but not least, the Mupid ONE electrophoresis system. It is a complete system, with gel cast stand, combs, electrophoresis chamber and POWER UNIT. With its compact footprint it fits everywhere in the lab.
This chapter starts with our vertical electrophoresis chamber followed by our superb multicolour protein ladders. There is a big selection on premixed buffer systems including the Quick run buffer, with which you can perform a protein electrophoresis in 15 minutes!
This chapter is all about our new Blue/Green LED Technology. We show here the latest development of cutting edge Japanese technology for incredible LED lightning, which is not just a safe alternative for UV light but is now able to produce BETTER results than UV.
With this technology you are able to visualize transfection of GFP without the risk of UV-related mutations.
We show here normal transilluminators as well as imaging capture system of the next generation:
You can find an overview of the imaging systems on pages 59-60.
The new Blue/Green LED GelPic Box combines the compact footprint and multiple light sources for different application with our Blue/Green LED technology. This combination results in a magnificent and portable imaging system.
Additionally, the new FAS Digi imaging system is presented. The FastGene® FAS Digi Imaging System is composed of a transilluminator equipped with a unique combination of blue & green LEDs. These LEDs emit light at a wavelength of 480-530 nm, enabling the excitation of green dyes, such as Midori Green dyes bound to DNA, causing a fluorescent emission at a wavelength of ~530 nm. Additionally, the Blue/Green LED technology enables the transilluminator to be used with red nucleic acid dyes, such as Ethidium Bromide as well as many other green or red dyes.
Our GelPic Imaging system build around a CCD camera with a dynamic range of 12 Bit Grayscale can be combined with all of our transilluminator including our new blue/green LED transilluminator
In this chapter we focus on the storage of cells using our three different Bambanker freezing media. Our original Bambanker is perfect for all cell lines and has even been used to freeze down ES-cells. Bambanker Direct has been developed for a quicker freezing process and Bambanker HRM is a xeno-free (no animal compound) solution which is made using human serum albumin. Cell Culture Chamber was developed to protect your cells from infections. It acts as an additional protective shield. With the Cell Culture Chamber you can now have a filtered incubation environment for you Petri dishes.
Our Screw cap tubes are perfect for cell storage up to -80 °C. With the possibility to add 2- dimensional coded inserts, they are the perfect solution for GLP conform cell storage.
The FastGene® Mini centrifuges come in three different colours and are supplied with three rotors (see below). This ultra quite mini centrifuge can handle six tubes (1.5 ml/2 ml). The other rotors (included) can load two 8well strips (tube capacity 0.2 ml) or slides (as shown below).
Our FastGene® High Speed Mini Centrifuge comes with a microrotor with a capacity of 12 tubes and can centrifuge up to 12.300 x G (at 13.500 rpm). The centrifuge shows a very compact design.
The FastGene® Plate Centrifuge is the most convenient, silent and easy to use centrifuge to spin down liquids in 96 or 384 well-plates. With its compact footprint and light weight it fits in every laboratory. The simplicity of the system guarantees quick learning phase
Our vortexer, which manufactured from the Italian company VELP, offers the ideal solution for different mixing requirements and combines the highest performance ratings in terms of speed with excellent reliability and safety
Tissue Grinder Mixy Professional is a motor-driven grinder for re-suspending pellets or disrupting soft tissue in microcentrifuge tubes. The motor is powered by a 3.7 V battery and can be used cordlessly for up to 4 hrs.
Our mini dry baths shows a very compact design but are powerful enough to fit all incubating needs. The FastGene® Hot & Cold Mini Dry Bath is a very powerful temperature regulating instrument, which can be set to a incubation temperature of -10 °C to 100°C.Using the different block designs you can use PCR strips and/or single tubes from small PCR tubes like 0,2ml up to 50 ml culture tubes. Alternatively the molded PTFE coated chamber allows you to use it as a water bath. The interchangeable ability of the heating block brings you the convenience of a traditional dry bath.
