The performance and reproducibility of your PCR result is significantly influenced by plastics. As a result of a unique manufacturing process in in a cleanroom, our FastGene® PCR single tubes, 8-well-strips and 96-well plates fulfill the highest quality standards:
- Ultra pure polypropylene, which inhibits proteins binding to the surface
- Very thin walls for perfect temperature transmission
- The tube walls are extremely robust
- A very stringent QC-procedure ensures the best reproducibility
- All of our plastic is DNase, RNase and human genomic DNA free
FastGene® PCR plastics stands for:
- Very good contact of single tubes, strips or plates to almost all available heating blocks
- Suitable for all thermal cyclers in your lab
- Very fast and homogenous heat transfer from the heating block to the sample
- Reproducible PCR results
Manufactured under stringent clean-room conditions
Free of RNase, DNase and human genomic DNA
Precision injection-moulded

The performance and reproducibility of your PCR result is significantly influenced by plastics. As a result of a unique manufacturing process, our FastGene® PCR single tubes, 8-well-strips and 96-well plates fulfill the highest requests of quality. All FastGene® PCR plastic products are manufactured by using ultra pure polypropylene. Proteins are not able to bind to the surface. The tubes and strips have very thin walls but they are extremely stable and robust.
Quality Control of FastGene® PCR Plastic:
The evaporation of samples is a well known error factor which depends on the quality of PCR plastic. This is very important especially for users that perform low volume (5 - 10 µl) PCR.
Therefore the FastGene® tubes and strips are intensively tested, under very stringent conditions. Because of a very stringent QC procedure, the „batch-to-batch“ reproducibility of all plastics is extremely high.
